As part of Community Westview’s wellness vision, a unique facility was created. Community Healthplex Sports Club is a medically-based facility that helps you get healthy and stay healthy for a lifetime. Plus we offer many programs – basketball, swimming, indoor tennis and running track to group and specialty fitness classes. Free Diabetes Basic Skills Class
Learn the basic skills you need to know to live a healthy life with diabetes. The diabetes basic skills class will provide you with the following education and services:
- General diabetes information – basic facts, treatments and complication prevention
- Daily glucose monitoring information
- Various important screenings
- Realistic meal planning, lifestyle changes, exercises
- Carbohydrate counting
